"The location is superb, right in the city center. Finding free street parking was a challenge, and the hotel's own parking costs €19 a day. Breakfast was quite decent, served buffet style, and they even had fresh waffles. Overall, we were pleased with our stay, especially since we were traveling with a small child."
"Very well located, the Hyllit Hotel can be found less than 5 minutes away from the Antwerp-Centraal train station. It is located in such a manner that you have a direct access to the historical centre of the city by foot, following a straight line.
The reception was very nice, I was received by very professional people who took the time to explain every commodities available in the hotel, from the mini-bar to the Emerald Lounge, and even how to access the rooftop restaurant and the health centre.
The room I was given was very clean, with different amenities available such as a TV with international channels (French, English, German), a coffee machine, and a phone."
"Really enjoyed our stay from the time when we checked in until checking out. The service was great, rooms are very cosy and nice and very good value for money. I would stay again if I am back in Antwerp again."
"Overall, it was a very good hotel. What I liked the most was that the room was very spacious. The kitchen was also very functional and had all the necessary dishes. I think it is suitable for long-term stays. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the station and very close. The staff were friendly and nice as well."
"I stayed at the B&B Hotel Antwerpen Zuid and had a great time. The room was more than adequate in size and very clean, a detail that I particularly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and guaranteed a truly restful sleep.
The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is the breakfast: sufficient, but without any particular ideas.
Overall, an excellent choice for those looking for comfort, cleanliness and tranquility."
"What we liked:
Overall the hotel has ample, clean public space and the room was spacious with a separate toilet area, shower area and sink / vanity area. This made getting ready and using the facilities for two ppl easier. The room also had a fridge.
The hotel is also right across the road from the main train station and a short 10 min walk to bus depot (Rooseveltplaats). So very good for traveling into and through Antwerp.
For pre checkin and post checkout they offer private free lockers for your luggage. Through it is first come, first serve and they don’t have that many of them (we had no problems fitting a 40l bag, a 28l backpack and tote bag into one middle size storage cube).
Small things that we didn’t like but can deal with:
Limited in room amenities, there was no kettle or mugs, etc in the room. We were left a bottle of water but it wasn’t clear if it was free or not.
The area around the hotel is a little sketchy (very quiet at night) but decently lite. They did require your room code to get back into the hotel after midnight.
The hotel is close to the train station but farther from the old city. It is a good 20-25 min walk to that area. We are ok to walk, so didn’t mind much but it is further than some other hotels."
"Wonderful hotel! The lobby is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a delightful aroma. The rooms are spacious and clean. We would especially return for the breakfast; it offered a wide selection, fresh ingredients, and everything was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful."
"Spotlessly clean and just a couple of steps from the station. Parking was a bit pricey, and the hotel's vague instructions led me to pay 51 Euros, which was triple the actual parking fee. Otherwise, everything was excellent. The breakfast spread was incredibly generous, and the room was very spacious by European standards. Both twin beds were also very large."
"Review:
My stay at this hotel was unfortunately not without issues. Upon arrival, there was an apparent payment error, requiring me to pay again on the spot, meaning I was charged twice. Thankfully, this was corrected the next day, but it was an unnecessary inconvenience. Additionally, the breakfast was disappointing, and our double room was only provided with one set of towels. The room itself was fine, but these shortcomings made the overall experience less enjoyable."

Great
BbabychamBeautiful hotel, smells gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent, safe and close to restaurants, bars and museums, as well as the tram taking you back to the city centre, close to the train station. My only criticism would be that the room doors tend to slam, the person in the room next to mine slammed their door early repeatedly in the morning and late at night so I recommend bringing earplugs. I missed having a kettle in the room, as an Irish person I like my tea early/late and not trying to figure out how to use the nespresso machine in the public hallway to get hot water, so even being able to request a kettle would be great. Very clean and comfortable stay. Recommended!
GGuest UserNice hotel , good location for first time coming , very easy access to everything around, food , markets everything at walking distance , very good

Very Good
GGuest UserThe front desk people were always nice and helpful, as were the cleaning people. I really liked the colorful interior. I hope that stay in the hotel again. Located within walking distance to the central station and downtown. One thing that was disappointing was that they didn't let me leave my suitcase after I checked out, even though it said in the important information that they could store my luggage. Whether or not I can leave my luggage will affect my plans, so I would like this to be improved
GGuest UserSuper General manager, Super hosts,
I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same.
Central located, check-in procedure was easy.
Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :)
Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon.
Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud.
Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.
SSuper FurryAppartement and Hotel style stay in the Dockland neighborhood of Antwerp. About 20min with public transport very close by around the corner of Hotel and plenty of city bicycle and e-stepper options to move around. My check in experience was efficient and friendly making me feel welcome. The Hotel has a clean and tidy all over appearance and my room #306 had a spacious feel and a good size double bed.
NO AIRCO!! That was one major minus point for me, the Hotel does provide ventilators but during a heat wave it was not enough to feel comfortable. The Hotel has no ”Do not Disturb” door signs which resulted in Housekeeping entering without knocking on door.
I brought this to the attention of the receptionist.
JJack_WTLocation out of the city, so not OK if you want to be in the center (not easy by public transport), If you have a car and you want an easy place to access from the ring, then location is perfect.
Only minus for me was the Wi-Fi. You have to chose between Free and paying Wi-Fi, but the free Wi-Fi was not even enough to reply my e-mails... Feels a bit like false advertising to say Wi-Fi is included.
